A conceptual piece I did while trying to come up with a story idea, my focus on this one was clarity. Originally I was going to crop it but I was rather fond of the excess blue space in the image.

According to my story here, there's this caveman who's been living in the hills and as time went by the weather started getting hotter and hotter and before long all the icy landscape in which he had lived turned into a sea. As the water level rose he kept on climbing higher and higher all that was left was the peak of the tallest hill in the area, now a tiny island. And so he built a hut out of driftwood and settled down into his new life.
